I landed in Bend in 1995 and gravitated towards the typical things such as working at the Pine Tavern, snowboarding, and going on many adventures with the dogs.
When it was time to settle into the big girl job, I found myself working for SCMC Radiology department and started dabbling in Medical Billing at the request of a therapist friend. I soon dove into it full time and started my own business back in 2009.
You can find me today still going on many adventures with the dogs in my 89 Toyota Warrior RV, doing Tai Chi, re-learning how to fly fish, lunching with girlfriends and my mom, but mostly I am trying to save the world of small office practitioners one day at a time!
Nerd alert, I love what I do and started this new venture in hopes of expanding my teaching horizons to not only my employee partners, but to practitioners and office staff alike, so we can battle those pesky insurance companies together and try and make a difference.
Howdy! I’m a third-generation Oregonian and a Jane-Of-All-Trades with a caffeine addiction and a long resume in multiple industries. I began insurance billing as a “front office gal” in late 2016 and fell in love with the work. Rachel and I first met when she stepped in to help me modernize the practice I was working in and I realized that I’d finally met the one person who knew what they were doing in billing. I officially joined Rachel’s team in 2023 and never looked back!
Aside from medical billing, I’m also a third-generation writer and a fourth-generation farmer. When I’m not at my desk, planning my next Disneyland trip, or playing D&D, I’m out fixing fences and stacking hay on the ranch where I was born and raised. Currently, I live in the foreman’s cabin on the family farm with my husband, our corgi, and two precocious cats – AKA, the “Team Torres” remote medical billing hub!

I’m a Central Oregon native with a heart for people, a love of small details, and the soul of a designer and life stylist. After graduating high school, I moved to Southern California, where I built my early career in high-level support roles and most importantly, met my husband. These experiences refined my creative perspective and led me to create a luxury event and wedding planning and design company—a craft I cherished until we felt the pull to return home and begin our family.
Upon returning home, I transitioned into the field of medical insurance billing under the exceptional mentorship of Rachel Keller. What began as a new professional direction quickly proved to be a natural fit, combining analytical precision with my desire to help others find clarity and confidence within complex systems with ease.
Outside of my work, you’ll find me outside or at home in the pines, soaking in the simple magic of life with my husband, our son, and the small collection of beloved animals that make our days lively and full.
I feel so fortunate to have grown up in beautiful Central Oregon. My childhood consisted of sports every season, every year. I got beat consistently by my older brother in any sport or game we played as kids. He never took it easy on me, but it made me a determined athlete! I enjoyed competitively participating in basketball, soccer and tennis in High School. I then focused my studies in Kinesiology (also known as Exercise and Sport Science) at Oregon State University.
After completing college, I became the manager at an Acupuncture clinic and Rachel did their Medical Billing. I learned so much from Rachel. She is truly so knowledgeable in this field and so passionate about it. For 7 years at that clinic, I learned about her craft and continue to do so! I have grown to love this line of work a lot. I love figuring out mistakes and billing errors. I feel like a detective trying to figure out what went wrong!
I am excited to gain more knowledge and grow professionally and personally. If I am not working, I’m enjoying time with my husband, and our daughter Parker. We are thrilled to be welcoming twins to our family very soon! A little brother and sister for Parker. We are so excited to watch them grow and hopefully engage in all the sports and endless activities our beautiful area has to offer!

I am an adventurer in mind and heart who landed in Bend after many years of traveling and working internationally and domestically. I am so grateful for that time in my life as it taught me so much, and gave me a deep appreciation for diversity and the interconnectedness of all things. I am a licensed mental health therapist which I love doing. With Resonate Health, I am happy to have knowledge and perspective of being on both sides of the medical billing process. In my free time you’ll find me playing in the outdoors with friends, family and dogs, enjoying the arts, or engrossed in puzzles, crosswords, knitting, or a good book.
I’m new to the field but bring years of experience as a small business owner, along with a strong background in customer service. I love finding ways to make systems run more smoothly and take a lot of pride in getting the details right—especially when it helps support our amazing clients.
I live in beautiful Bend, Oregon, where I take full advantage of the outdoors whenever I can—snowboarding in the winter, white water rafting in the summer, and digging into my garden whenever possible. I’m also into stained glass art, which lets me channel my love of color and precision into something creative.

Hi everyone, I’m a transplant from Los Angeles, and I’ve really been enjoying the change in scenery and the view Central Oregon has afforded me. I’m a second generation Mexican-American who has a background in IT work as a helpdesk coordinator, Level Two Technician, Server and Network Administrator. I bring a lot of these technical skills with me into medical billing. While the work isn’t the same, there are a lot of similarities like details, optimization, and work ethic.
When I’m not working, I like to run and play D&D games with my wife Scout and play video games with my friends online.
